When You Decide To A Podcast For Your Capstone Project

Image
So, it's my last year of high school. And I have decided to do a podcast for my Capstone Project. I know that may sound crazy, but trust me, it's such a great idea, I literally googled "how to do a podcast as a capstone project" just to see if other high school students have done it. Of course, a couple of students have done podcasts as their Capstone projects as far as I could look, but not from my school.  Still, I came up with the idea because I had been sitting on the idea of making a podcast for such a long time (I even tried making a podcast episode based on an earlier blog post three years ago, but that's not out there for the world to see).  Great, now I just had one other question to answer: What should the podcast be about? I jotted down on a few ideas, until, aha, I know what this podcast should be about: creativity! And it makes perfect sense, not just because a podcast itself can be a sort of creative project, but also, for a long time, I had thought

Before I begin, I'm happy to announce that I'm a recently published author! Check out my book Concept Journal: A Test of My Imagination  on Amazon today, available in both digital and paperback! The book is a year-long recollection of fascinating lessons and random facts I've learned, simply explained in my soon-to-be signature style of humour! If you purchase this book, I hope you at least take something away from it, and become a more curious person than you ever were before (sorry, expectations too high?)! I was a little nervous about doing it and putting it out there, as it was the first video on my channel that shows my face (not a face reveal though, my channel icon was already of my face), but also that I was reacting to a video that I've been waiting an awfully long time to see. So much so, that when it finally came out on YouTube, I freaked out as if one of my cousins j

Chapter 9: Gratitude Gratitude has many benefits for your mental health In this chapter, Jay mentions a study where participants had to either keep a gratitude or stressor journal for a day. Compared to the group that had to write down what was irritating them, the group writing down what

Once we've figured out our true identities, released all our negativities, befriended our fears, and set good intentions for ourselves, we can now learn to make better decisions in our lives by setting a purpose based on personality and passions, keeping a consistent and uplifting  routine , paying more attention to the way the mind works, and sacrificing the  ego for something even better.  Chapter 5: Purpose Find your dharma Dharma  is a Sanskrit word with a foggy translation in other languages, but Dictionary.com defines it as one's "essential quality or character". Jay's definition of the wo
